Generally, if the price of a car is between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, then 10% has to be paid. If the price of the vehicle is more than Rs 20 lakh then you have to pay 12% tax. 2% extra tax has to be paid on diesel cars. So 2% less on the same electric vehicles.

Difference in fees between BH number plate and normal number plate

Whereas if we talk about normal number plates, road tax on BH number plates is collected on a fixed formula every two years. So for vehicles with normal number plate, you have to pay road tax in advance for 15 years. In this you have to pay 10% to 15% road tax. Accordingly, you may have to pay more for this as compared to BH number. But in this, once you pay the tax, you do not have to worry for 15 years. Whereas for BH number you have to pay tax every two years.
